Arsenal Nepal Supporters Club organised their 6th Annual General Meeting on 22nd September, at Sports Hive, Jhamshikhel.
During the event, President of Arsenal Nepal Nabin Chitrakar handed out Arsene Wenger themed t-shirt, an Arsenal batch and membership card to the members.
The event welcomed around 200 new members to the Arsenal Nepal family. Around 600 official members have joined the Arsenal Nepal Family since 2012.
This year, through the AGM, Nepali Arsenal fans paid tribute to their longest serving manager Arsene Wenger who was at Arsenal for 22 years. During Wenger’s era, the club won three Premier League titles, seven FA Cups and seven Community Shields.
Arsenal Nepal also announced that an Arsenal Nepal banner will be placed inside the Emirates Stadium sometime this season.
Arsenal fan and Miss Nepal Asia Pacific International 2017, Sahara Basnet graced the event and spoke about the wonderful atmosphere at Arsenal Nepal events.
Speaking at the end of the program, President Nabin Chitrakar thanked everyone. He said, “I would like to thank the members, supporters, sponsors and volunteers. Without any of their support, none of the events would be possible.”
He also added next year Arsenal Nepal will come up with new events which are sure to surprise the members.
