Anti-corruption act amendment bill passed by parliamentary committee

The amendment bill to the Anti-Corruption Act 2002 has been passed by a parliamentary committee. On Thursday, the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee of the House of Representatives unanimously endorsed the bill during its meeting.

Committee Chair Ramhari Khatiwada presented the amendment proposal for discussion, which was subsequently approved unanimously. Earlier, the meeting held deliberations on a report submitted by a subcommittee led by MP Hridayaram Thani regarding the bill.
