Airport to shut down for 30 mins during Bangladeshi President’s departure

Kathmandu, November 15

Tribhuvan International Airport says that all flights will be halted at the country’s only international airport for 30 minutes during Bangladeshi President Abdul Hamid’s departure from Nepal. The airport informs that the airport will also be closed from 4:40 PM to 5:10 PM on Friday.

President Hamid, who was on a 4-day goodwill trip to Nepal, is leaving for Bangladesh on Friday around 5 pm in the evening. He had come to Nepal upon invitation from President Bidya Devi Bhandari.

Before leaving for Dhaka, President Hamid will visit Chandragiri Hills and Patan Durbar Square on Friday.
