Kathmandu, May 6
A man from Kathmandu has reported being infected with the coronavirus again, days after the health workers announced his recovery.
A source from the Ministry of Health and Population says the 52-year-old man residing in the Pepsicola-based Sun City Apartments was found coronavirus positive again.
The man, along with his 81-year-old mother, had tested positive for the coronavirus on April 13 after coming to Nepal from the United Kingdom in March. The duo were discharged from the hospital on April 23 after recovery.
With this, the number of reinfected patients has reached three with one report each from Rautahat and Birgunj.
