Kathmandu, July 5
Nepal’s Rit Gautam scored an unbeaten century to guide his side towards a comprehensive win against Singapore in ACC U-19 qualifiers being played in Malaysia.
Batting first, Nepal posted 327 runs in their alotted 50 overs thanks to an unbeaten 115 by Gautam.
Singapore could only muster 109 runs before getting bowled out in 39.1 overs. Kushal Malla claimed for wickets for Nepal.
The winner of the tournament, which also features Malaysia, Bhutan, Hong Kong and Thailand, plays the ACC U-19 Asia Cup in Sri Lanka, which starts on August 28.
