Kathmandu, January 23
Danta Nepali ‘Darshana’, the deputy mayor of Tilagupha municipality in Kalikot district, went to the United States to attend a function in the third week of October last year. As the leader did not come back home yet and she is out of contact, the municipal government has now concluded that she hid there.
For the first few weeks, Nepali was in contact with her municipality’s mayor Ratna Bahadur Shahi. But it has already been more than one month since he last communicated with her.
Once, Nepali, in a call via Messenger, had told Shahi that her return would be delayed claiming she fell sick there. Now, her Facebook account has been deactivated.
