Janakpurdham, August 31
Inmates at Jaleshwor Prison in Mahottari have deposited Rs 101,105 into the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
The devastating flood that struck Rasuwa’s Bhotekoshi River on August 27 caused massive loss of life and property.
Prison chief Ashok Kumar Chhetri said the inmates collected the funds themselves to support relief and rescue efforts for victims, then deposited the amount into the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
