The Prime Minister’s Secretariat has urged the public to remain cautious when making financial donations for flood victims.

As various groups have been raising funds for the rescue, relief, and rehabilitation of citizens affected by the Bhotekoshi flood in Rasuwa, the Secretariat has taken serious note of certain individuals, groups, and organisations circulating unauthorised QR codes and personal account numbers to collect donations.

“To ensure transparent use of contributions, proper management, and to avoid potential financial fraud, we sincerely request that donations be made only through the official QR code and account number published by the government,” the Prime Minister’s Secretariat said.
