Biratnagar, August 27
The Morang and Sunsari district administrations have requested that details be provided of anyone who has lost contact due to the flooding and landslides that swept down the Trishuli and Narayani rivers via Rasuwa’s Bhotekoshi.
The District Administration Offices of Morang and Sunsari said people who travelled to flood-affected areas for work may have lost contact, and asked that details of any such individuals be provided.
Morang’s Assistant Chief District Officer Pawan Raj Koirala issued a notice on Thursday requesting that families and other concerned parties provide the names, addresses, and contact numbers of anyone who went to the flood-affected areas for work and has since lost contact.
Sunsari’s Assistant Chief District Officer Rajmani Niraula also requested that information be provided about anyone from Sunsari who has lost contact.
