Kathmandu, August 26
India has sent 10 tonnes of humanitarian assistance and essential medicines to support rescue and relief efforts following the Rasuwa flood in Nepal.
Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar announced the assistance in a Facebook post, saying the supplies had been sent to support Nepal’s relief efforts in the flood-affected areas.
India also expressed condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the disaster and solidarity with all those affected.
Jaishankar said India stands with Nepal and the Nepali people during the challenging situation.
