Following the major flood in the Bhotekoshi River, the Prime Minister’s Office has instructed all helicopter companies to remain in a state of readiness.
The secretariat of Prime Minister Balen Shah has informed that all companies have been directed to stay on standby.
Rasuwa’s Chief District Officer, Narendra Pariyar, said the sudden major flood occurred on Wednesday morning at around 9:15 am.
The flood, which came from the Tibet side, has moved from Rasuwa through Nuwakot toward Dhading, Gorkha, and Chitwan. The flood is estimated to have caused significant damage, and it has swept away a market area located on the border between Rasuwa and Nuwakot.
