The House of Representatives’ Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee is set to discuss the implementation of court verdicts and orders at its upcoming meeting.
The committee will hold the meeting on Thursday, August 27, at its meeting hall in Singha Durbar.
According to the agenda, the committee will hold discussions with the Department of Judgment Execution on the current status of verdict implementation, challenges faced in the process and a future action plan.
Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sobita Gautam, the ministry secretary and the director general of the Department of Judgment Execution have been invited to the meeting.
The committee’s jurisdiction includes matters related to justice administration and judgment execution.
