One hundred electric vehicles have been imported to Nepal via Korala checkpoint in the first month of the current fiscal year. According to the Mustang Customs Office, the office collected revenue of Rs 290 million from such number of electric vehicles and other goods imported via the checkpoint during the period.
Office Chief Bidur Chudal told RSS that around 10 cargo containers pass customs clearance via Korala check point every day. A total of 3,000 electric vehicles were imported to Nepal via this checkpoint in the last fiscal year, and Rs 6.92 billion in revenue was collected from it.
