A person was killed in an attack by a wild boar at Lalbandi of Sarlahi. The deceased has been identified as Prem Bahadur Thing (Dawa), 32, of Pidkhola of Lalbandi Municipality-15.
Severely injured in the attack on Sunday, Thing breathed his last on the way to the hospital in Lalbandi, according to the District Police Office, Sarlahi’s spokesperson DSP, Saroj Rai. The body has been taken to the Provincial Hospital Malangawa for post-mortem examinations.
The thing was attacked by the animal that had entered his maize field. He had been staying at the farm for the past few days to protect the crops from animals.
