A Polish tourist visiting the Manaslu region has been rescued through helicopter on October 13. According to the District Police Office, 36-year-old tourist Adam Bartosz Pasierbek, bearing passport number FE 0468919, was airlifted from Chumunubri-4, Namrung, to Kathmandu at 13:00 on Monday.
He had visited the area through the Mountain Sun Valley Trek Company.
Meanwhile, Tasi Bhuti Lama, 74, from Dyangki, Chhumnubri Rural Municipality–5, who was seriously injured in a bear attack on Sunday, has also been rescued via helicopter. Ward chairperson, Kalden Chewang, informed that she sustained deep injuries on her head, face, and skin. The police stated that she was airlifted to Kathmandu for treatment.
