Disinfection tunnel installed in Nagdhunga to minimise Covid-19 risk

A disinfection tunnel has been inaugurated in Nagdhunga of Kathmandu, on Friday, May 1, 2020.

A disinfection tunnel has been installed in Nagdhunga of Kathmandu, the busiest entry point of the capital city, to minimise the risk of coronavirus infection in the valley.

Officials inaugurated the tunnel on Friday morning. After the inauguration, the vehicles entering the valley have begun to pass through the tunnel, disinfected.

Sundar Yatayat Pvt Ltd, a private transport company that operates electric buses in Kathmandu, has funded the project whereas the local traffic police office will ensure its smooth operation.
