Nawalpur, September 24
Five persons died when a truck and a car collided in Kawasoti Municipality-8 of Nawalpur district on Monday night.
All passengers of the car (Ba 21 Cha 6409) died when it collided with the truck (Lu 1 Kha 8532) inside Kharkatta forest area last night. Three victims have been identified as Purna Bahadur BK aka Deepak (35) from Keurani, Devchuli-1 of Nawalparasi; Dil Bahadur Dhenga Mangar from Devchuli-5 and Suraj Rana Magar from Kailali. The two others are yet to be identified.
A police inspector informed from the incident site that the security personnel rescued the five seriously injured from the car and sent to a hospital in Chitwan, but the hospital declared them dead on arrival.
Police have taken the truck under control.
