Former crown prince Paras Shah, who was rushed to Norvic on Sunday after suffering a heart attack, has been discharged from hospital after his health condition improved, doctors tending to the former royal said.
Shah’s sister Prerna RL Singh and other family members came to pick him up from Norvic Hospital on Friday afternoon.
Shah was rushed to Norvic after he complained of unbearable chest pain. The former crown prince was immediately administered a coronary angiogram after arteries were found to have been completely blocked. According to hospital doctors, a coronary stent was implanted on him. Shah who was kept at the hospital’s coronary care unit was transferred to the general ward on Thursday after doctors saw considerable improvement in his health.
“According to the reports, he is stable. That is why we are discharging him. But that said, he will have to be careful and regularly take medicine and change his lifestyle so that things like these don’t happen again,” informed a hospital doctor. Shah has been asked to come to the hospital next week for a follow-up.
