The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has complained of non-implementation of its recommendations related to infrastructure.
The NHRC had recommended the government prioritise the construction of buildings for essential services and to make the buildings disabled-friendly.
The government was urged to reconstruct the quake-damaged historic, religious and cultural infrastructures keeping their originality intact. But the government failed to fully abide by the recommendation, the NHRC asserted.
Information Officer at NHRC Tika Pokhrel shared that there was weak implementation of NHRC’s recommendation.
