Mahottarai, August 13
State Minister for Social Development in Province 2 government, Abhiram Sharma, on Monday has produced himself to the Mahottari District Court.
He is accused of murdering Armed Police Force ASI Thaman BK.
Earlier two weeks ago, the High Court in Janakpurdham had issued an order in the name of Mahottari District Police Office to arrest two ‘absconding’ suspects of the murder case including Sharma.
Sharma belongs to the Rastriya Janata Party Nepal, a ruling coalition member in the province.
BK was killed during a clash in September 2015. BK’s wife Shobha Gahatraj had moved the court against Sharma.
