
Kathmandu, January 25
The National Assembly election saw a voter turnout of 95.68 per cent.
According to the Election Commission, voting began at 9 am on Sunday and was scheduled to continue until 3 pm. The voting process concluded within the stipulated time.
The Commission reported that the voting was conducted peacefully and with enthusiasm.
Election Commission Deputy Secretary and Spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai stated that once all ballot boxes are collected, the counting will take place at the Chief Election Officer’s office.
