A total of 883 tourists visited the Khaptad region in the Sudurpaschim Province in the past seven months of the current fiscal year, according to the Khaptad National Park.
Khaptad is known for its religious and natural heritage. A total of 18 foreigners and 865 domestic tourists visited Khaptad in the first seven months of the current fiscal year.
In the fiscal year 2020/21, three foreigners and 1,685 Nepalis visited the Khaptad area, and in 2021/22 the number of visitors was more than 2,200.
Likewise, a total of 2,891 visitors travelled here in the fiscal year 2022/23. With the beginning of the tourist season, the number of visitors is expected to rise in Khaptad.
