Kathmandu, June 11
Eight people have died in a road accident in Pyuthan that took place on Monday.
The car (Lu 1 Cha 6345) was returning from Swargadwari temple in the district.
DSP Subash Khadka of the District Police Office, Pyuthan said the jeep fell some 50 metres at Takura of the Swargadwari-Bhringi road section. Seven out of the eight dead have been identified, he said.
The deceased have been identified as Sarita Sharma Pokharel, Bishal Pokharel, Bikash Pokharel, Govinda Shah, Radhika Nepali, Aditya Shah, Sishir Subedi and Tara Bahadur Kumal.
