Kathmandu, May 14
The Election Commission has said the preliminary data collected from 34 districts which held local level elections today suggest the total voter turnout is 71 per cent.
The Commission says the process of vote counting will begin now.
Chief Election Commissioner Ayodhee Prasad Yadav at a press conference said the voting could not be held at three strations, one each in Kavre, Dolakha and Kalikot districts.
Dates for voting at these stations will be decided in consultation with political parties, according to the Commission.
