Telephone lines in some areas of Biratnagar Metropolitan City have been disrupted for the last three days.
According to the Biratnagar branch of the Nepal Telecom, the telephone lines were damaged when water pipes of the city were being repaired
Two boxes belonging to Nepal Telecom were damaged and as a result, around 700 telephone lines have been disrupted in areas between Shani Temple to Keshalya, said technical officer at the Branch Bacchu Raj Khatiwada.
He said that it would take at least two months to repair the damaged structures.
