Kathmandu, November 24
Five persons died and five others sustained injuries in a jeep accident in Baitadi of Sudurpaschim on Tuesday afternoon.
The four-wheeler (Na 1 Ja 2196) was going to Gothalapani from Jhulaghat of the district when it fell off the road at around 1:45 pm today. All the victims died on the spot, according to Janak Bahadur Dhami, the District Police Office spokesperson.
The injured are undergoing treatment at the District Hospital.
The victims are yet to be identified.
The driver is on the run since the accident.
