Sindhuli, April 30
Two persons died and one got injured in a car crash at Pipalbhanjyang, Kamalamai municipality-2 of the Sindhuli district on Sunday morning.
The victims have been identified as Kumar Puri (50), a resident of Charpane in Jhapa, and Sahara Prasain (43) from Gaurighat of Kathmandu.
The District Police says both died on the spot.
The office spokesperson DSP Chiranjeevi Dahal says Yogendra Thapa, a resident of Pyuthan municipality-8 in the Pyuthan district, is critically injured. After primary treatment in Sindhuli, he has been referred to Kathmandu.
The car heading towards Sindhuli fell around 70 feet down from the BP Highway. Although the police were informed of the case at around 5:30 am, it looks like the accident took place between 3 and 4 am, the investigators say.
