Banke, April 18
President Bidya Devi Bhandari has arrived in Nepalgunj of Banke district this afternoon.
She arrived here to inaugurate the Eighth National Games.
The inauguration of the Games will take place at the Nepalgunj Stadium at 6 pm today.
President Bhandari will inaugurate the Games amidst a special event.
The President arrived here on a special plane of Shree Airlines, the President’s chief advisor Bhesh Raj Adhikari said.
The President is scheduled to meet lawmakers and Provincial Assembly members of Province 5 who are available in the town, the District Coordination Committee chiefs and deputy chiefs of Banke and Bardiya districts and the representatives of the local levels.
President Bhandari will stay in Nepalgunj tonight after inaugurating the National Games, it is stated.
