Kathmandu, May 23
The Meteorological Forecasting Division has predicted partial to general cloudy sky at most of the places of the country due to the influences of westerly wind today.
There is also a possibility of light to moderate rainfall along with lightning towards the afternoon.
Senior meteorologist of the Division, Min Kumar Aryal, says that the weather has been affected in the western part due to the influence of westerly wind and in the central and hilly areas due to influence of local wind.
“This is premonsoon period and this kind of weather is expected,” he adds.
According to the Division, partial to general cloudy sky has been predicted for most of the parts of the country while there is a possibility of light rainfall along with thunderstorm at some places of hilly area on Thursday night.
Similarly, hilly areas of the country would remain partial cloudy and there is also a possibility of rainfall along with lightning in the afternoon on Friday.
Likewise, the Division has predicted fully cloudy weather in eastern parts of the country on Saturday as well as a possibility of partial to light rainfall at hilly parts of midwestern area.
There is a possibility of rainfall along with thunderstorm in eastern part of the country towards the afternoon.
