The Board of Cricket for Cricket in India (BCCI) has invited Nepal’s U-19 cricket team to play one day series to be held in Kolkata of India from September 9 to 20.

The team’s coach Binod Das says the Nepali team, however, are yet to make a decision on whether to participate.

“We are still discussing the invitation,” he says, “Our team are not training since a long ago. Therefore, we are thinking how everything can be managed in this short period.”

“Everything will be finalised within next one or two days.”

Some members of the team are included in the senior national team as well and they have recently returned from the Netherlands tour. The national team will soon be busy in a closed camp for the Asia Cup Qualifiers.

Therefore, Das says he is thinking of excluding national team members from the U-19 team.

The final schedule of the one day series, however, has already been prepared notwithstanding Nepal’s indecisiveness.
