Mi Notebook Pro is one of the two ultrabooks released by Xiaomi along with the Mi Notebook Ultra. This is the economic version of the two.

It shares almost similar specifications to that of the Mi Notebook Ultra. Mi Notebook Pro features a similar solid build quality with a high-resolution display. This laptop too offers a long battery life with fast charging features.

Design and display

Mi Notebook Pro gets the same build as that of Ultra and flaunts a similar elegant design. The unibody design of the laptop has precision cut and is then polished into a sleek body. This laptop is also made with an aircraft-grade Series 6 aluminium alloy with 170 grit sandblasted texture ensuring durability and maximum smoothness across the chassis. A neat Xiaomi branding can be seen on the outer lid of the laptop.

There is a 3.5mm jack and USB 2.0 port on the right side of the laptop. On the left side lies USB Type-C, HDMI, USB 3.2 Gen 1 and a Thunderbolt 4 port. The laptop has air vents and two 2W stereo speakers at the bottom. The laptop seems pretty portable as it weighs only 1.4 kg and is 17.3mm thick. Mi Notebook Pro also features a fingerprint scanner which is embedded in the power button. The three-level backlit keyboard with 1.5mm deep key travel and a dedicated macro key is a good addition to the laptop.

Mi Notebook Pro features a 14 inch 100% sRGB Wide Colour Gamut, Truelife display with a resolution of 2,560*1,600 pixels. Furthermore, the display on the laptop has an aspect ratio of 16:10 and 215 PPI density. Furthermore, the laptop also features TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification and DC, dimming flicker-free for lowering the stress on the user’s eyes without affecting the colour accuracy.

Performance and storage

Mi Notebook Pro runs on Windows 11 Home and is powered by the 11th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-11300H processor. There are four cores and eight threads on the CPU and the computer has a max turbo frequency of 4.4GHz. Intel Iris Xe is handling the graphical duties on this laptop.

For cooling purposes, the laptop features a thick 6mm diameter heat pipe and a large diameter fan. This will allow the laptop to provide peak performance for a prolonged period.

Mi Notebook Pro features up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM with 512 GB of NVMe PCIe SSD storage.

Battery life and other features

Mi Notebook Pro gets all its power from a 56Wh battery that can provide up to 11 hours of battery life under normal use. The battery can be charged through a 65W superfast charger which gets the battery 50% charged in just 34 minutes.

There is the support for Wi-Fi 6 on the laptop for wider and faster internet connectivity. For the webcam, the laptop has a top-mounted HD webcam with a resolution of 720p. Good audio can be expected from the laptop as it features two stereo speakers with support of the DTS audio app.
