Kathmandu, October 13
Chinese President Xi Jinping, who is on a two-day visit to Nepal. will meet Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and NCP co-chair Puspa Kamal Dahal before flying to China this afternoon.
President Xi and Prime Minister Oli will witness the signing of various bilateral agreements before heading home at 1 pm on Sunday.
Xi is scheduled to meet Dahal at 10:30 am. He will also meet members of NCP’s secretariat separately. He will then hold delegation-level talks with Prime Minister Oli after which the signing ceremony is to take place.
The Chinese President is visiting Nepal upon the invitation of his Nepali counterpart Bidhya Devi Bhandari. Visit by a Chinese President after a hiatus of 23 years to Nepal is expected to further strengthen ties between the two neighbours.
