Dhulikhel, July 17
A woman allegedly murdered her sexagenarian mother-in-law in Devitar, Dhulikhel municipality-1 of Kavrepalanchok district.
Suntali Tamang killed 63-year-old Maili Maya at around 10 pm on Tuesday, claim police.
Inspector Niranjan Bhattarai, in-charge of Banepa Area Police Post, says Suntali pushed the victim’s head against a wall to kill her.
Seriously injured in the attack, the victim was taken to Scheer Memorial Adventist Hospital in Banepa for treatment. She breathed her last at around 1 am this morning.
Meanwhile, police arrested 24-year-old Suntali and her husband Dhawa, 35, for further investigation.
