Kathmandu, June 22
A female human body has been found in a forest area in Dakshinkali in the southern outskirts of Kathmandu on Tuesday.
The deceased woman, appearing to be in her 30s, is yet to be identified it the face was crushed by a heavy object, SSP Chandra Kuber Khapung of the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Division informs.
Considering the mysterious circumstances, police have suspected she was murdered and launched a detailed investigation. Forensic doctors and sniffer dogs have also been mobilised in the probe.
Khapung says the body was found inside a toilet near a picnic venue.
