WCL Division II: Nepal beat UAE by 4 wickets

Kathmandu, February 11

Nepal beat the UAE by four wickets in their third match of the ICC World Cricket League, thanks to an all-round performance by skipper Paras Khadka.

Put into bat first, the UAE could only manage 114 runs before losing all their wickets in 31 overs. While pacer Sompal Kami provided an early breakthrough and claimed four crucial wickets for the Rhinos, leggie Sandeep Lamichhane claimed three wickets.

Nepal chased down the target in 28.5 overs with Khadka scoring his first half century of the tournament, being played in Namibia. With the win Nepal keep their hopes of qualifying for the World Cup Qualifiers.
