Rastriya Prajatantra Party President Pashupati Shumsher JBR said on Thursday it will be impossible to conduct elections without bringing Madheshi Morcha on board.
JBR, speaking at a face-to-face that Rafat Sanchar Club had organised, said conducting elections will be impossible without addressing what he called ‘just demands’ of Madheshi Morcha through Constitution amendment.
Even if local bodies’ election takes place, there will be a need to constitute provincial demarcation commission for conducting elections for the provinces and the Federal Parliament, he said, adding: Other processes will not move ahead without resolution of disputes related to provincial boundaries. Inclusion of secularism in the Constitution was a wrong move, he said, demanding a referendum on secularism.
