Kathmandu, February 17
Vice-president Nanada Bahadur Pun has announced that the will donate an amount equal to his one month’s salary to the Dharahara reconstruction campaign.
“Dharahara was a national heritage. It was ravaged by the earthquake, we should rebuild it soon,” Pun’s personal secretary Tulsi Dangi quoted the Vice-president as saying.
Vice-president Pun has also urged the government to begin the restoration of all cultural heritages damaged due to the earthquake.
