Vehicular movement at Katunje-Mangaltar section of the BP highway has been obstructed since this morning. According to the District Police Office, the road section has been blocked after rainfall swept away diversions constructed at different places along the stretch. Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Rabin Bista, shared that though activities were underway to repair diversions, it would take time to resume traffic. The water level increased in the Roshi River after the rainfall swept away diversions constructed earlier, he added. Meanwhile, police have been holding vehicles at Kavrebhanjyang of Dhulikhel and Nepalthok of Sindhuli following the road obstruction. Police have requested not to travel along this section until next notice.
