Twin earthquakes rock Nepal on Wednesday morning

Kathmandu, April 24

Two earthquakes with a magnitude of 5.2 and 4.3 on the Richter Scale rocked Kathmandu and nearby areas early in the morning on Wednesday.

The National Emergency Operation Centre, Nepal, reported that earthquakes with magnitudes of 5.2 and 4.3 hit Naubise in Dhading district at 6:29 am and 6:40 am respectively. the NEOC says both quakes were an aftershock of the devastating earthquake that claimed more than 10,000 lives and injured more than 20,000 on April 25, 2015.
