Three children have been swept out by the Bagmati river in Dharmapur of the Rautahat district in western Nepal, on Sunday.
Pinki Kumari Mukhiya (10), Sujita Kumari Das (12), and Chanchal Kumari Mukhiya (10), residents of Gadhimai municipality-10 of the district, are missing since the incident, according to SP Ravi Raj Khadka of the District Police Office.
Personnel of Nepal Army and Nepal Police assisted by the locals are searching the girls.
Earlier, the girls had gone to the river for a bath. After they submerged in the river, Archana Kumari Mukhiya, who had gone to the river along with the three others, had informed the locals.
