Kathmandu, June 26
As many as three persons of the same family were killed after their house was buried in a landslide at Luru of Bareng Rural Municipality-1 in Baglung last night.
According to DSP Deepak Regmi, Chief of Baglung District Police Office, those killed have been identified as Bishnu Bahadur Chhetri, Bishnu Kumari Chhetri, and Soniya Chhetri.
A landslip triggered by the heavy rainfall caused the tragic incident.
Similarly, slight damages have occurred in the neighbouring houses following the incident. No human casualties were reported in other families, informed police.
Damages in various other places of the district have also been reported, said Regmi taking to Onlinekhabar. However, no human casualties have occurred in the damaged areas.
