Three-day restrictive order in Jumla

Surkhet, June 3

The Jumla District Administration Office has issued a three-day restrictive order in its bid to control the coronavirus outbreak in the district.

The order comes into effect from 9 am today to Friday midnight.

The DAO issued the order after some people who had recently returned from India and a few security personnel contracted Covid-19. Assistant Chief District Officer Om Prakash Devkota hopes that the order would stop the outbreak from spreading at the community level.

Devkota warns of action if locals defy the order.

During these three days, all shops and transportation vehicles except those supplying and selling medicines, and medical equipment will be shut. Fruit, vegetable and grocery markets will open from 7 am to 9 am and 4 pm to 6 pm everyday.
