Suhang Nembang has filed his candidacy from Ilam-2 on behalf of the CPN-UML.
Nembang registered his nomination on Tuesday by reaching the Office of the Election Officer in Ilam for the House of Representatives election scheduled for March 5. The UML Ilam committee had recommended his name as the sole candidate.
So far, candidates registered in Ilam-2 include Yam Yonghang Limbu from the Janamukti Party, Ganesh Prasad Dulal from the Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Shyam Bahadur Limbu from the Mongol National Organization, Sudip Rai from the Labour Culture Party, and Diwas Rai from the National Transformation Party.
Similarly, in constituency number 1, Kaji Man Kagate from the CPN-UML, Hari Gurung from the Ujyalo Nepal Party, and Binod Nembang from the Labour Culture Party have filed their nominations.
