Birgunj, June 30
One man has died due to snakebite in Nijgadh of the Bara district in southern Nepal, in the wee hours of Wednesday.
The victim has been identified as Saroj Bamjan (20), a permanent resident of Bhorle, Hetaunda sub-metropolitan city of the neighbouring Makawanpur district. He was residing in the house of his maternal uncle in Damarpur, Nijgadh-13. A snake had bitten him at around 3 am today.
Seriously injured in the incident, he succumbed to injuries while being rushed to the Nijgadh Primary Health Centre, the District Police Office spokesperson Gautam Mishra says.
