Dolpa, September 24
A wheel came off a Sita Air plane while it was landing at Jufal Airport in Dolpa.
The aircraft, carrying 13 passengers from Nepalgunj, lost one of its rear right-side wheels during landing.
Chief District Officer Junu Hamal Dhakal said there was a minor issue with the wheel and that everyone was safe.
The plane is currently on the runway, and technicians are inspecting it, she said.
DSP Anil Raj Giri of the District Police Office, Dolpa, said the rear wheel came off during landing at around 8:25 this morning.
According to him, the plane was carrying 13 passengers,7 foreigners and 6 Nepalis, including 11 men and two women. All of them are safe, DSP Giri said.
