Kathmandu, May 3
The Election Commission has directed the government to shut all schools of provinces 3, 4 and 6–which will hold local level elections on May 14–from May 8 to 14.
The Commission also told the government to give a public holiday across the provinces on voting day.
The Commission said various schools, government offices and health posts would be used as voting stations and they should be handed over the Commission by May 8.
