Kathmandu, December 11
The government has announced cash prizes for Nepali athletes who won medals during the 13th South Asian Games, which concluded in Kathmandu on Tuesday.
Each gold medalist from the Nepali contingent to the games shall receive Rs 900,000 as cash prize, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli announced at a programme organised to felicitate participants of the 13th SAG. Athletes who won silver medal shall receive Rs 600,000 while those who won bronze Rs 300,000.
