In spite of their impressive batting in the first innings, Nepal ‘s men team lost their first match of 13th South Asian Games currently underway in Nepal. Sri Lanka U-23 team beat Nepal by six wickets.
Nepal had posted a 173-run target, which the Lankans achieved in 19.1 overs at the loss of four wickets.
Pawan Sarraf took two wickets whereas Susan Bhari and Sompal Kami took one wicket each.
In the first innings, however, the hosts had performed well. Vice-captain Dipendra Singh Airee had scored 72 runs alone.
