Kathmandu, May 20

Dipendra Singh Airee, vice-captain of Nepal’s ODI cricket team, has climbed another three places in the ICC ODI All-rounder Rankings.

According to the latest ICC rankings released on Wednesday, Dipendra has climbed three places to 25th, with 159 rating points.

Last week, he had climbed from 31st to 28th place, with a rating of 153. Since then, his points have increased by 6.

His rise in the rankings is being driven by his performances in the League 2 series played on home soil. Previously, in the series against Oman and the UAE, he scored two half-centuries and one century across four matches, while also taking 4 wickets.

He has also been performing well in the ongoing tri-series among Nepal, the USA, and Scotland. In the first match against Scotland, he scored 55 runs. Against the USA, he took 4 wickets but did not get a chance to bat. In Monday’s match against Scotland, he scored just 2 runs with the bat but took 1 wicket.

In the T20I All-rounder Rankings, Dipendra remains steady at 4th place.

Among other Nepali players in the all-rounder rankings, Sandeep Lamichhane climbed 3 spots to 68th place, Lalit Rajbanshi jumped 12 spots to 76th place, Gulshan Jha rose 15 spots to 87th place and Karan KC dropped 5 spots to 89th place.
