Chitwan, June 12
One person died after getting attacked by a rhino in Chitwan on Sunday.
Jhandbil Bote, 60, of Bharatpur metropolitan city, died after being attacked by a rhino in Hariyali Community Forest.
According to the ward chair of Bharatpur metropolitan city-23 Dipak Dawadi, Bote and his spouse had entered the community forest at around 3:00 pm. Bote’s dead body was recovered at 5:30 pm.
The government records show that human-wildlife conflict has consistently been on the rise in the past few years.
